What we are passionate about
Multi space program
Multi Space” is a cross disciplines ,cross nations space program, that combines under the umbrella of space science a versatile disciplines and worlds such as Behavioral Science and Psychology, Chemistry and Biology (AstroBiology), Architecture and city planning, Philosophy of science ,Art and much more.
The program’s syllabus is built for a consecutive 4 semesters and combines a themes such as Study of the universe cluster, Space Technologies cluster, Space Exploration and entrepreneurship cluster and Future Of Interplanetary Settlement cluster, All from different perspectives,On one hand from a Space tech and space exploration point of view, And on the other hand from a philosophical, Multicultural, Art and architectural views.
The program is targeted to a wide range of students at High schools and baccalaureate degrees levels, that comes from a spectrum of disciplines. The program is adjusted for a multicultural audience in different languages and uses methods of PBL-Projects Based Learning techniques, to create some products ,such as 3D printed Martian colony, that combined a multi disciplines perspectives and plannings.
“We are all residents of the Milky Way ’’ initiative:
Under the hat of “Multi Space” program, lay the initiative “We are all residents of the Milky Way“.
This initiative is a focused, hybrid set of meetings conducted by a different ethnic groups and sectors, sometimes on the background of rivalry, under the wide imaginary theme of space, that is helding physically and online simultaneously.
This initiative contains a space specialists lectures in both languages (For example Hebrew and Arabic), And afterwards 2 lessons from each sectors, at his own language, mentored by the students of “Multi space” program, and finally there is either a workshop (Building water missiles etc) or an interactive games like “Space treasure hunt” to gather the group under a collective physical mission.
This initiative has been running in Israel since the spring of 2021 ,on the background of Jews and Arabs clashes ,and it’s already had a series of meetings, online and offline, With a wide range of schools and specialists that took part.
The pick event of this program was being held at a leading Israeli college of “Oranim”, With a series of lectures, Workshops and games, mentored by Jews and Arabs instructors and the attendance of more than a 1000 participants. Its main aim is to create a shared background that will blur the differences and rivalry and will create a shared aim and a collective identity.
About the creator
About the initiator Nir Dubrovsky: Nir is a space visionary entrepreneur, pedagogist and lecturer with a vast experience of founding and executing space start ups and educational programs. mainly projects that cross boundaries.
Nir is an ex senior mentor at Ramon foundation “spacelab program” ,lecturer at spaceil-The first Israeli organization to send a spaceship to the moon ,A space teacher and pedagogist. An active member and speaker at the IAU (International Astronomical Union) and he is the director of Tel-Aviv region of space educators “Horizon” under the Israeli space agency ,From which he got the 2021 year best educator.
The founder of Exom space, “Multi Space” and the initiative “We are all residents of the milky way”, Nir believes that under the umbrella of space education and exploration, we can gather teens and students from rival countries to build together a better future for humanity. Nir holds a Msc. in Geography, An Msc. in Earth and environmental science and an MBA degrees.
Our Philosophy
The goal of the “Space and Multidisciplinary” project is to create a two – year course that will include interdisciplinary learning-on a broad scale ranging from the humanities and social sciences to the natural sciences and exact sciences.
All of the above under the unifying umbrella of space science and exploration and the use of PBL project-based learning.
